DG1 makes seasonings and cooking pastes for everyday cooking. The idea is simple – strong, natural flavour that stands out.

We pay close attention to how ingredients are processed, especially garlic. Using controlled, low-temperature methods, we retain more of its natural aroma and taste. This allows our products to bring out better flavour in everyday meals.

OUR STORY

How It Started

DG1 was founded in 2025 by Dr. Ajay Goyal. He was born in Neemuch, a region known for very strong and aromatic garlic. At an early age he moved to Indore, which is known as the street food capital of India. This is where his interest in food grew.

Back in 2005, he started exploring ways to process garlic better, with the aim of preserving its natural flavour more effectively. This led him to experiment with different methods, including freeze drying.

Over time, through continuous trials, he was able to develop garlic powder with a much stronger and more natural flavour compared to what was commonly available.

This work eventually led to the launch of DG1 in 2025. The brand started with garlic powder, and gradually expanded into more seasonings and cooking pastes, including garlic paste.

The thinking remains simple – good food starts with good flavour, and that depends on how the ingredient is made.
